1 – Creating Right Content Consistently

Producing high-quality content on a consistent basis takes some practice and iteration. You have to get into the uncomfortable habit of completing projects that you start and become familiar with taking action and finishing tasks even when you don’t feel like doing it.

Being consistent in something begins with maintaining momentum and then over time your consistent action will lead to mastery.

In this article, you’ll learn some habits and techniques that will help you maintain momentum, help you see your progress over time and help you take action even when your motivation isn’t there.

If you feel like you’re always starting over and losing steam in your consistency, this article will show you small changes you can make and action you can take that will help you implement more time-management strategies, contingency plans and a schedule that will help you create content more consistently.

2 – Social Media Management

Digital marketing encompasses many moving pieces that work together to generate interest, nurture leads, and close sales.

However, it’s important that you know the ins and outs of each digital marketing tactic. And, how they can help your business if you want to get the most out of your marketing budget.

Let’s start with the most common question – what is social media management?

Social media management is the process of creating, publishing, promoting, and managing content across social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin.

Developing a social media strategy is an important part of making sure that each of your campaigns is helping you get closer to meeting your marketing goals. After you have decided which channels you plan to use, you’ll need to consider how often you plan to post and what types of content you will post.

3 – Getting Value from SEO

I quite like this technique. The principle is that you look at who your biggest affiliates are in terms of SEO value, as well as traffic. Then you create a dedicated landing page on your domain for that affiliate to use. You can even do this so that they can still link to their own versions of deep pages such as categories or product pages.

Focusing on a very broad topic can be detrimental to your search engine rankings. That’s mainly because you’re trying to rank for everything, which can be extremely challenging. Instead, focus on a more specific niche, even within a single industry. For example, instead of covering beauty products in general, you could focus on cruelty-free beauty products.

This will make it easier for you to boost your rankings for a few relevant keywords before you can further expand your niche.

But that doesn’t mean you can just pick any niche that you’re interested in.

4 – Generating Consistent Flow of Leads & Sales

Apart from branding and PR, lead generation is one of the major responsibilities of a digital marketer when it comes to procuring business online. However, you must know that for generating leads some channels need more money investment whereas others need more time investment. According to industry experts a blend of both money and time investment is an ideal way to generate leads via digital marketing.

In- order to target audience that can become your customers, you must select to use inbound marketing, which includes video marketing, content marketing, guest blogging and other forms of content formation and marketing. In bound Marketing is the best way to generate leads, especially if you are starting up and have more time than money.

when it comes to lead generation, the world’s most popular social networking site Facebook has its advantages and disadvantages. For B2B businesses it does not work well in lead generation, whereas B2C businesses can obtain good leads from Facebook. This is because most of the Facebook users are in consumer mode.

5 – Avoiding Burnout

I work in a digital marketing tech where the tasks seem endless. There’s always a new contract signed, a new onboarding process, a new partnership program to offer for a better solution — it’s pretty much like a roller-coaster.

Just like in any job, working in digital marketing doesn’t make it easier. There are more and more brands looking for an agency to level up their content.

This also includes asking for help to dive deep into their marketing performance. While this is a good demand for the companies, especially startups, it also makes the employees experience burnout too many times.

If you work in the same industry as I do, it’s important to set some boundaries. A couple of months ago, I made a promise to myself, not to overwork and know when it’s time to say “no.” Applying these tips has gradually changed my work as a digital marketer to be more balanced and healthy.

The thing is, we like to please our clients. We want them to get higher open rate performance in their email marketing, or we insist on helping them find the right new banner design for their upcoming campaigns. That one move eventually will build up their expectations over your service, and you end up not having many options other than doing everything to exceed those expectations.

So avoid doing this, especially when you know there’s only so much you can do. Not trying to be unhelpful, but also know your limit. If you don’t think you can increase their email revenue because their design template indeed sucks, then it’s better to let them know and recommend them to work on that.
